The Dogish Podcast, with hosts Jasen Arias and Sylvia Wes, is the show dedicated to dog parents and the topics, events, & personalities impacting their lives.
Jasen Arias
Jasen Arias is an entrepreneur at heart. His 20-year career in architecture eventually turned into following his passion of photography which eventually led him to the love of his life and they now have a couple two legged sons in addition to Brownie and Maximus. . .their fur kids.
After traveling the world photographing weddings, he and his wife decided to keep it local in the Reno NV area and launched FUREVER Reno. A project that celebrated the love and stories found in animal welfare. After publishing two books, FUREVER Reno became FUREVER USA and the project took them on a 10,000-mile adventure around the United States while photographing the stories of how rescue dogs changed someone’s life. Those stories have now been viewed over 40,000 times and each-and-every continent across the globe.
Sylvia Wes
Sylvia Wes is a CPDT-KA, ABCDT certified dog trainer and Dog mom in Los Angeles, CA. With over a decade of experience in the Pet industry, she’s had her hands helping paws in every aspect from Rescue to geriatric pet care. Her foray into the dog kingdom was a position in a no kill Rescue center caring for over 200 animals.
She credits her life with dogs to her first rescue, Tallulah. The original “Dog up in this Bitch!” She has made it her life’s work to find a way to help more animals stay in homes before being returned to shelters by becoming a dog trainer and behavior modification specialist. Dog Mom, Pet Expert & now podcaster. Sylvia is excited to spark conversations and dive deep into the wild, wonderful world of Dogs.
